I am a newer member of the Guild (2012), but have been using Polymer Clay since I was about 16.  I lived on the Dorset Heritage Coast, where I made polymer clay brooches and pendants incorporating real 'iron pyrite' fossils collected from the beach.

When I moved to Coventry about 20 years ago, I sold work in a garden centre in Barton-Under-Needwood, and did little craft fairs with a friend, making everything from polymer clay. (We were called 'Allsorts')

I diverted from Polymer clay, into sterling beaded jewellery, and fashion jewellery.  I discovered Resin a couple of years ago, and it has now become one of my main materials in crafting.  I am also a cardmaker, and as time has gone on, I realise that all these things go together, and I am teaching myself in Mixed media art and jewellery design.

Polymer clay found it's way back to me after meeting a Guild member at a craft fair, who is now one of my best friends, and has taught me (and reminded me) what I know about Clay.  Currently, I am better at sculpting than canes, and I like surface techniques.
